Problem Set for Friday 3/11

Dear all,
please try to solve exercises 1-4, chapter 5 of Gregor Smith's notes. The solutions should be handed in with Simon by 11am on Friday 3/11. ( See also Jeremy's announcements on his G02 homepage. )

Solutions Tutorial 2

Dear all,
here are my solutions for exercises 1 - 6.
My notes for the first tutorial can be found here. I will revise these notes, as in their current state they were mostly meant for myself. So maybe don't print them out yet. I'll post them again, as soon as they are in their final state.

Organisational stuff

my email: a.uthemann@ucl.ac.uk ( please use G02 as subject when writing emails )
my office: We're in the process of changing offices in Drayton. I will update you on the office situation. Currently it is room 311 on the 3rd floor.
office hour: 4-5 pm on Fridays in B03 and 6pm in B04. If you come at 6, try to be on time. I'll leave if nobody turns up.
